Key Responsibilities

  • •Formulate long- and short-range business plans and goals for the plant operations within area of responsibility
  • •Supervise and staff operations to meet production levels consistent with cost objectives, including training and performance reviews
  • •Set and monitor work center operation efficiency and quality standards; initiate corrective actions as needed
  • •Monitor and manage inventory (including rotation and month-end inventory) and oversee finished goods packaging
  • •Ensure operations follow safety policies (including OSHA), company standards (including yard housekeeping), and applicable federal/state/local laws and regulations

Key Requirements

  • •Preferred bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent
  • •Minimum of two years of experience as a production supervisor or equivalent
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • •Preferred experience and knowledge of UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines
  • •Ensure employees are properly trained
