Job Summary

Lead all Mortgage Operations activities, including processing, underwriting, closing, and funding, ensuring high-efficiency, high-quality service and loan compliance. Partner with mortgage sales, internal teams, and external vendors to drive process improvements, enhanced reporting, and operational growth. Own operational goals, risk management, SLA/KPI performance, loan origination systems, and ongoing compliance with investor/agency and FHA/VA guidelines, while supervising and developing a loan operations team.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the Mortgage Operations function covering processing, underwriting, closing, and funding to meet loan obligations with efficiency and quality.
•Develop and oversee operational goals, departmental planning, and reporting of metrics/results for senior management.
•Manage risk and operational oversight by monitoring portfolio impacts, evaluating applications/credit risk, and ensuring underwriting practices and documentation meet regulatory requirements.
•Lead improvement and maintenance of loan origination systems, vendor changes, and product launches; ensure lending criteria is met for loan types, rates, and fee structures.
•Supervise the loan operations team, including planning, directing work, performance evaluation, hiring/training, and fostering collaboration between operations and sales.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 110,000 - 180,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
•Seven or more years of mortgage operations and/or mortgage compliance experience.
•Experience leading teams and managing people with direct supervisory responsibilities.
•Strong lending knowledge across regulations, products, and risk.
•Ability to interpret and communicate regulations, policies, and protocols.
