Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze applicable codes, standards, and contract documents and monitor construction activities to ensure compliance.
  • •Conduct inspections on construction and subcontractor work to assure safe, workmanlike operations; verify equipment settings, alignment, testing, and energization requirements.
  • •Maintain records of contractor human and equipment daily resources, materials tests, site measurements/surveying checks, and project milestones.
  • •Undertake site supervision and inspections when required or instructed by the Resident Engineer or Assistant Resident Engineer, including daily follow-up with the contractor.
  • •Prepare daily reports including works orders, materials delivery, and daily inspection program; implement site instructions and support start-up, commissioning, and handover.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
  • •Minimum 7 years of experience in similar infrastructure and road projects, including at least 3 years of experience in the UAE.
  • •In-depth knowledge of construction practices, building codes, and regulations in the UAE.
  • •Strong familiarity with contract documents, detailed drawings, and project specifications.
  • •Proficiency in site inspections, quality control/quality assurance procedures, and site measurements/surveying checks.
