Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify business unit critical business processes and associated critical data elements (CDEs) and ensure data controls support execution of those processes.
  • •Onboard, validate, and update CDEs’ business metadata, including proposing new CDEs/data domains, reviewing CDEs on an established cadence, and executing CDE change requests.
  • •Define, enroll, and monitor data quality rules and standards; track data issues and risks; and escalate concerns through governance forums for resolution.
  • •Maintain CDE metadata in the enterprise metadata repository/metadata catalogue, including onboarding related business metadata and managing metadata update requests.
  • •Monitor and help govern data privacy, security, retention, archiving, and data sharing/access control requirements in collaboration with privacy and governance stakeholders.
