Job Summary

Oversee maintenance activities and system testing for the Tornado Egress System, including scheduled/unscheduled maintenance, TCTOs and SI’s. Lead and supervise the Egress Maintenance Team Technicians, coordinating with other trades and supervisors to meet the aircraft maintenance programme. Ensure certification/compliance (including Red-X clearance), manage budgetary control and manpower, support logistics of replacement components, and provide reporting and technical input for aircraft status, incidents, and audits.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage maintenance activities and the system testing programme for the Tornado Egress System.
•Manage Egress System Testing requirements across the servicing schedule, unscheduled maintenance, TCTOs and SI’s.
•Supervise the Egress Maintenance Team Technicians and provide required direct supervision to maintain quality standards.
•Plan, coordinate, prioritize and monitor scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities, including daily progress updates and escalation of programme impacts.
•Manage budgetary control and manpower performance, investigate technical issues and accident/incident events, and coordinate audits and technical documentation procedures.

Key Requirements

•A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level (or technical apprenticeship), or suitable equivalent technical qualification acceptable to M&CA.
•OR a Part 66 licence (current or lapsed), or suitable equivalent technical license acceptable to M&CA.
•Relevant type training (‘Q’ Course) and equipment specific training if required.
•Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) Registration.
•Extensive post-qualification practical maintenance experience in an operational flying aircraft environment, with leadership skills to supervise engineering personnel.
