Key Responsibilities

  • •Liaise with colleagues within the Lighting and Energy Solutions team, wider multidisciplinary design teams, stakeholders and clients to drive project delivery.
  • •Produce detailed design layouts, engineering drawings and support documentation in line with QA and client requirements.
  • •Prepare feasibility reports, technical notes, optioneering reports and specifications for projects.
  • •Engage with luminaire, column, controls and electrical manufacturers to source and specify components.
  • •Coordinate with contractors including site support, respond to RFIs and TQs, and support site clearance drawings.

  • •Proficient in Lighting Reality or Dialux lighting design software and AutoCAD
  • •Strong understanding of external lighting standards, guidance, legislation and regulations
  • •Good general awareness of electrical design and lighting maintenance operations
  • •Experience in lighting design from conception through to issue for construction
  • •Good understanding of central management systems
