Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide patient care per DCAS clinical practice guidelines within the paramedic scope.
  • •Make treatment and referral decisions and deliver duties safely and confidentially.
  • •Maintain competence in DCAS paramedic skills and the specified medication matrix.
  • •Operate ambulances according to DCAS policies, including vehicle checks before shifts.
  • •Complete accurate electronic patient care reports and support readiness duties and coaching for new EMT/paramedics.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in EMS or Bachelor’s degree in nursing with an internationally/nationally recognized paramedic bridging program (or equivalent).
  • •Licensed as a DCAS Paramedic.
  • •BLS, ACLS & PALS certificates, and a Trauma Certificate (PHTLS or ITLS).
  • •Valid UAE driver’s license and EVO (Emergency Vehicle Operator) license.
  • •Ability to perform patient care duties safely, confidentially, and professionally.
