Production Management Trainee

Develop comprehensive knowledge of plant operations and manufacturing processes through on-the-job training under a mentor. Learn panel and lumber grades, lumber math, material utilization, cuts and yields, and product costing. Gain familiarity with production scheduling, budgeting and expense control, and continuous improvement, efficiency standards, and safety. Support operations aligned with policies and laws while touring UFP facilities and customer locations, completing assigned courses and preparing reports.
