Job Summary

Build and optimize the architecture for ByteDance’s recommendation system to ensure high availability and stable user experience. On the SRE team, you’ll improve reliability and operational efficiency for large-scale clusters through CI/CD, automation, and SLA-focused cloud resource optimization. Partner with software engineers on DevOps solutions, and develop or test computer/network software while troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

•Optimize reliability and operations for large-scale recommendation system clusters.
•Drive continuous integration and delivery of core services to improve stability and R&D efficiency through automation.
•Perform cloud platformization, resource optimization, and SLA guarantees for large-scale clusters.
•Collaborate with software engineers to design and implement DevOps solutions that improve end-to-end R&D efficiency.
•Research, design, and develop computer/network software; update capabilities and develop software testing/validation procedures.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
•Strong programming experience with at least one of: Shell, Python, Perl, Go, or C++.
•Experience operating large-scale systems.
•Familiarity with system operation skills on Linux and networks.
•Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
