Key Responsibilities

  • •Build AI systems that turn engineering requirements into verified electrical and mechanical designs through manufacturing-ready outputs.
  • •Create agents that operate CAD/EDA/simulation tools to generate designs, run experiments, inspect results, diagnose problems, and iterate with teams.
  • •Develop end-to-end workflows across component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, mechanical CAD, assemblies, thermal analysis, and coupled electrical/mechanical simulation.
  • •Implement tool integrations and representations agents need to reason over geometry, connectivity, materials, tolerances, and manufacturing constraints.
  • •Design evals and feedback models that measure engineering correctness, constraint satisfaction, simulation accuracy, manufacturability, and performance, then use traceable results to improve systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience building and shipping LLM-based agents or AI tooling, including context engineering, tool integration, orchestration, evaluation, and failure analysis.
  • •Strong software engineering skills, especially in Python, with the ability to build reliable integrations, debug unfamiliar systems, and get AI to write code that works.
  • •Experience (or deep academic exposure) in electrical or mechanical engineering, with the ability to reason about physical constraints and distinguish plausible from verified designs.
  • •Comfort using AI to learn and ramp on new problems, including agentic coding tools, deep research, and frontier models.
  • •An eval-driven mindset: measure correctness, investigate failures, and use those failures to improve the system.
