Job Summary

Act as the clinical and technical point of contact for cochlear implant centers, hearing care professionals, and AB CI recipients in the Netherlands. Support professionals and patients across the cochlear implant pathway, including surgical support, sound processor fitting/optimization, education, and candidate discussions. Balance field visits with home-office work and team meetings, train ENT surgeons and audiologists, maintain documentation, and represent Advanced Bionics within the audiology community.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide clinical and technical support to cochlear implant professionals, hearing aid professionals, and other hearing care professionals.
•Train ENT surgeons, audiologists, and other professionals on the AB cochlear implant system, sound processors, fitting software, and related tools.
•Support clinics with processor fitting, troubleshooting, and optimization when needed.
•Deliver on-site and online training sessions, including patient information sessions, CI candidate events, and professional referral activities.
•Guide CI candidates through their CI journey; maintain accurate documentation and follow quality and compliance procedures.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology or Medical Technology, or a comparable medical/technical background.
•Fluency in Dutch with good proficiency in English.
•Strong communication and presentation skills.
•Service-oriented, collaborative mindset.
•Comfortable working in a clinical, technology-driven environment; willingness to travel regularly within the territory and internationally.
