Key Responsibilities

  • •Run Dutch payroll end-to-end, ensuring accurate, compliant, on-time processing in-house.
  • •Oversee payroll master data validation for hires, terminations, salary changes, variable pay, benefits, absences, and garnishments within deadlines.
  • •Perform pre- and post-payroll validations, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Handle statutory filings (Loonaangifte, Jaaropgave) and manage required government accesses (Belastingdienst, UWV).
  • •Own and improve the payroll system: configure and maintain it, test legislative updates, troubleshoot issues, and support automation with Product.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years running native (in-house) Netherlands payroll end-to-end, handling high-volume payslips independently.
  • •Advanced, hands-on experience with AFAS and/or Nmbrs by Visma and/or Loket.nl (non-negotiable).
  • •PDL (Praktijkdiploma Loonadministratie) and/or VPS (Vakopleiding Payroll Services) and/or NIRPA Register Salarisadministrateur (RSa) registration; HBO in Business Admin or Finance is highly valued.
  • •Deep, current knowledge of Dutch wage tax, social insurance, and labor law, with confidence to advise stakeholders.
  • •Dutch at C1/C2 for local authority interaction and fluent English for collaborating with a global async team.
