Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead technical activities and coordinate technical resources to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and economic plant operation.
  • •Develop, implement, manage, and communicate the station’s technical plan; manage Management of Change and compliance with corporate procedures.
  • •Direct Process Specialists to provide technical support for station projects and areas of responsibility.
  • •Oversee capital and O&M project completion and budget tracking, ensuring technical projects are sound and align with station and owner needs.
  • •Provide leadership for outage work scope and work order plan packages (including labor, materials, equipment, Lockout-Tagout, technical support, and Quality Assurance), and monitor equipment condition/system assessments for reliability improvements.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalent and 8 years of experience in a power plant, chemical plant, or industrial plant working with mechanical equipment and electrical equipment.
  • •Or, a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 7 years of experience in a power plant, chemical plant, or industrial plant dealing with mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • •Experience developing, implementing, and managing station technical processes, work/project planning, and procedural standards.
  • •Strong supervisory, communication, and human relations skills to lead and hold employees accountable.
  • •Experience in budgeting, project management, project development, and outage scope development.
