Job Summary

Own and execute key general ledger accounting activities within the Shared Services Center, including month-end close support, cash/A/R-related transaction processing, and maintaining accurate accrued/prepaid and subledger accounts. Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations, ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls, prepare audit documentation in support of SOX, and partner cross-functionally to improve reporting accuracy and drive process automation efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead financial close activities for accrued and prepaid expenses, cash, and related subledger general ledger accounts in accordance with US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP.
•Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations for assigned asset and liability accounts using supporting documentation and ensuring timely close.
•Prepare documentation and reports to support internal and external audits, including compliance with SOX policies.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including O2C operations) to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve accounting issues.
•Support ERP system integration and drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and internal control enhancements across shared services activities.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (required).
•5+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
•Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Hyperion and SmartView).
•Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis).
•Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
