Design, build, and operationalize AI-powered solutions that integrate with Java/Spring Boot backends on AWS. Own end-to-end RAG implementation—from models and embeddings to production-grade services, data pipelines, and retrieval mechanisms. Collaborate across teams to translate business needs into scalable, secure solutions, while ensuring code quality through reviews, testing, documentation, and monitoring with enterprise tool integrations.

Key Responsibilities

•Architect, develop, test, and maintain AI-enabled Java applications and services.
•Design robust data and AI pipelines for embeddings and retrieval mechanisms for RAG scenarios.
•Develop and operationalize solutions using AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, and AWS Step Functions.
•Integrate with enterprise tools and workflows (Jira, ServiceNow, qTest) and ensure seamless deployment and monitoring.
•Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and documentation, and advocate for secure, scalable, cost-aware solutions.

Key Requirements

•7+ years in software/AI engineering with experience applying AI/ML results in production apps.
•Experience with AWS Bedrock and RAG architectures using SageMaker and Lambda, including embedding pipelines and chunking strategies.
•Vector/graph data experience with OpenSearch or Aurora PostgreSQL (pgvector) and Amazon Neptune.
•Backend development with Java/Spring Boot and security practices using IAM-based access control and secrets management.
•Strong AWS infrastructure experience across ECS Fargate, Step Functions, EventBridge, API Gateway, and S3.
