Key Responsibilities

  • •Own parts of the platform end to end so customers can discover, book, pay for, and use inventory without friction.
  • •Design, build, and modernize services in Groupon’s microservices ecosystem as the platform evolves.
  • •Strengthen core platform abstractions, data model, and tooling that other systems build on.
  • •Integrate new inventory and partners, making each onboarding easier over time.
  • •Maintain reliability for systems you own: define metrics/alerting, investigate cross-service behavior, and ship durable fixes.
