Job Summary

Own end-to-end design for Engagement product pods, shaping user experiences that bring people back to NerdWallet and help them make smarter financial decisions. Partner with Product and Engineering to define a design vision, leverage AI-powered tools for ideation and prototyping, and deliver production-ready designs for iOS, Android, and mobile web. Use research, analytics, funnel data, and A/B results to evaluate decisions and continuously raise design quality across the organization.

•Define a design vision balancing user needs with engagement and monetization goals, creating end-to-end journeys with a systems mindset.
•Use AI-powered tools to accelerate ideation and prototype AI-driven experiences, evolving the team’s AI-native design workflow.
•Deliver production-ready designs at pace, contributing to the design system with reusable components and maintaining quality across iOS, Android, and mobile web.
•Partner with PMs, Engineers, and Analysts on usability tests and concept validation, using analytics, funnel data, and A/B results to evaluate decisions.
•Communicate design decisions through artifacts and presentations and contribute to a culture of critique and continuous improvement across design.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 115,000 - 195,000 annually

•Experience designing for native mobile apps (iOS and/or Android) and mobile web.
•Demonstrated ability to use research and data to drive and explain design decisions.
