Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Information Technology with 2 years related experience, or Bachelor’s with 4 years related experience (or 2 years First Solar IT experience), or Associate’s with 6 years related experience (or 4 years First Solar IT experience), or 8 years equivalent external experience (or 6 years First Solar IT experience).
  • •4+ years in manufacturing systems or on software development teams using Microsoft .NET technologies.
  • •6+ months interfacing with manufacturing control systems, shop floor interface/automation systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or OPC data transfer.
  • •Troubleshoot and program multi-tier architecture solutions using C#, XAML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, T-SQL, and MSMQ.
  • •Experience with SQL Server databases and data structures; AngularJS and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) are preferred.
