Job Summary

Develop and enhance software systems supporting manufacturing, reliability, and R&D processes. •Develop and modify software systems for manufacturing, reliability, and R&D processes.
•Integrate shop floor systems with custom-developed and off-the-shelf solutions.
•Provide hyper care and expert-level support for global manufacturing, database, and related applications.
•Assist server, network, and DB administrators with troubleshooting enterprise-level problems.
•Document recurring issues, present possible solutions, and interface with other departments and supplier representatives.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 91,200 - 130,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Master’s degree in Information Technology with 2 years related experience, or Bachelor’s with 4 years related experience (or 2 years First Solar IT experience), or Associate’s with 6 years related experience (or 4 years First Solar IT experience), or 8 years equivalent external experience (or 6 years First Solar IT experience).
•4+ years in manufacturing systems or on software development teams using Microsoft .NET technologies.
•6+ months interfacing with manufacturing control systems, shop floor interface/automation systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or OPC data transfer.
•Troubleshoot and program multi-tier architecture solutions using C#, XAML, ASP.NET, JavaScript, T-SQL, and MSMQ.
•Experience with SQL Server databases and data structures; AngularJS and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) are preferred.
