Key Responsibilities

•Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
•Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
•Develop and distribute informational financial materials to service members and families.
•Coordinate and deliver Personal Financial Management classes/workshops across military lifecycle events; adapt content for DoD directives.
•Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes (web-based, secure chat, video) as required by contract.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 58,440 - 93,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree required; may consider an associate degree with 4 years of experience or a high school diploma with 6 years of experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree
•3+ years of financial counseling experience
•Must be a U.S. citizen and fluent in English; bilingual in English and Spanish if required by contract
•Must have AFC, CFP, or ChFC certification
•Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 DoD clearance and pass OCI disclosures
