Job Summary

Lead the development, testing, deployment, and support of 3D measurement and inspection solutions for manufacturing applications. Own the creation and upkeep of engineering specifications and technical documentation, evaluate new metrology technologies, and define equipment and process requirements. Apply project management to meet cost, technical, and schedule objectives while incorporating EHS, LEAN, and Quality principles. Provide technical leadership and mentorship for measurement engineering work in an onsite role in Berkeley, MO.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop, test, deploy, and support 3D measurement and inspection solutions, including automated data-collection and analysis routines for manufacturing.
•Produce and maintain engineering specifications, deployment documents, and other technical documentation.
•Evaluate emerging metrology technologies and transition promising solutions into operational environments.
•Define and approve requirements for equipment, materials, parts, and processes used across design, manufacture, and maintenance.
•Lead and mentor other measurement engineers, and provide technical consultation while promoting standardization and compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality obligations.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor, Master, or Doctor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry.
•14+ years of related work experience (or equivalent education and experience).
•5+ years of experience with laser-based measurement systems, including portable and fixed 3D measurement tools (e.g., laser tracker, photogrammetry, laser scanner/LIDAR, structured light, CMMs).
•3+ years of experience with metrology software such as Polyworks, Spatial Analyzer, or Verisurf.
•Strong metrology/measurement analysis background, including measurement uncertainty and traceability.
