Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to structural design and bridge structures engineering from inception to completion.
  • •Undertake assessment of existing structures across stages, including on-site inspection and analysis.
  • •Support finite elements analysis, structural inspections, and structural renewal feasibility studies.
  • •Participate in scheme management, including managing resources and tasks within a scheme of structures.
  • •Contribute to on-site works supervision and collaborate with teams and stakeholders on delivery of results.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •MEng or MSc in Civil or Structural Engineering (advantage).
  • •Good technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering with a demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Essential Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
