Key Responsibilities

  • •Visually inspect topside and subsea oil and gas components on and offshore, under supervision of Inspection Operations Lead or Project Manager.
  • •Carry out offshore inspection campaigns for three or more weeks at a time.
  • •Generate inspection reports in line with client requests and applicable codes and standards.
  • •Learn and utilize NEXUS IC or equivalent software and hardware for data management and troubleshooting.
  • •Be able to conduct clear and concise live video commentary during inspection campaigns.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum of five years’ experience conducting inspection campaigns of either subsea components or onshore equipment.
  • •Minimum of three years hands on experience with subsea oil and gas components and their basic operations; CSWIP 3.3U / 3.4U underwater inspection qualification preferred.
  • •Knowledge and experience with traditional NDE methodologies (UT, MT, etc.); strong knowledge of PC hardware / software networking preferred.
  • •Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English; additional languages an asset.
  • •Willing and available to work offshore for 3 or more weeks at a time to complete inspection campaigns.
