Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform pre- and post-contract cost activities including cost estimates, procurement and tendering, contract administration, variations, and final accounts.
  • •Complete feasibility studies and write procurement reports.
  • •Estimate and cost-plan, producing and presenting the final cost plan.
  • •Lead tendering and procurement activities including pre-qualification, tender list, preliminaries, tender analysis/report, and compiling contractual documents.
  • •Produce timely cost checks/valuations and monthly post-contract cost reports; interface with clients and consultants, manage cost variances/change control, and contribute to value engineering and final account negotiation/approval.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics or equivalent is required.
  • •Strong English skills required plus Italian.
  • •Proven cost and/or commercial management experience, ideally within a consultancy environment.
  • •Good knowledge of all methods of construction and procurement.
  • •Experienced with (or managing team that uses) multiple estimating tools and applications; strong experience with spreadsheets and databases.
