Key Responsibilities

  • •Define best-in-class sensing strategy and roadmap to improve accuracy, reliability, and robustness across real-world conditions.
  • •Establish success criteria and make tradeoffs across accuracy, coverage, responsiveness, power, and member experience.
  • •Lead cross-functional strategy for sensing capabilities across Sensor Intelligence, Machine Learning, Hardware, and Embedded to align on priorities, tradeoffs, validation, and launch readiness.
  • •Analyze field data, controlled validation, member feedback, and competitive benchmarking to find where sensing performs well and where it breaks down.
  • •Translate sensing advances into meaningful member value by partnering with Product to improve foundational signals across WHOOP experiences.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 155,000 - 215,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of product management experience building technically complex products in consumer health, wearables, or sensing/ML domains.
  • •Experience working with sensor data, algorithms, or quantitative models with technical fluency to partner with engineering and science teams on validation and tradeoffs.
  • •Strong analytical instincts and comfort working directly with data to identify opportunities and challenge assumptions.
  • •Exceptional product judgment balancing scientific rigor, technical complexity, member impact, and speed of execution.
  • •Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through ambiguous, technically challenging problems and align stakeholders across disciplines.
