Key Responsibilities

  • •Day-to-day management of all ICU patients in conjunction with the Intensive Care consultant
  • •Full ward rounds with the MDT each morning and a second clinical round every evening, including holidays and weekends
  • •Review and assess direct referrals to the ICU or via the Outreach service
  • •Participate in development and updating of administrative and clinical protocols
  • •Participate in education programmes and ongoing professional development, including Journal Club and Morbidity & Mortality meetings
