Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct lab-scale and pilot-scale wet chemical synthetic experiments to validate proof-of-concept and develop new material formulations.
  • •Design and execute experiments to establish reaction parameters, optimize yield, and improve reproducibility.
  • •Evaluate and select equipment and process configurations for pilot and commercial scale operations.
  • •Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances; collect and analyze process data to identify optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvements.
  • •Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on scale-up, including supporting process safety reviews, risk assessments, and environmental compliance planning.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 140,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •MS in Materials Science, Chemistry, Materials Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (PhD preferred).
  • •Hands-on experience in materials synthesis (e.g., solid-state, hydrothermal, precipitation, or other chemical synthesis techniques).
  • •Experience with materials characterization tools including XRD, SEM, TEM, BET, and TGA/DSC, plus spectroscopic methods.
  • •Experience in process design, equipment specification, and scale-up from lab to pilot or production.
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills in a multidisciplinary environment.
