Key Responsibilities

  • •Help define and evolve Xero’s long-term strategy by evaluating the changing landscape the company operates in.
  • •Structure and solve business problems using rigorous, fact-based quantitative analysis with internal stakeholders.
  • •Develop market intelligence to identify trends and anticipate shifts that inform strategic decision-making.
  • •Run operating rhythms including annual planning, OKRs, and Board reporting to translate priorities into action.
  • •Deliver high-priority programmes requiring strong structure, pace, alignment, and cross-functional execution using AI-enabled ways of working.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience at a top-tier consulting firm highly preferred, or comparable strategy/operations/transformation experience in a global technology or SaaS environment.
  • •Strong strategic toolkit for turning ambiguous briefs into well-structured problems with clear hypotheses and data needs.
  • •Analytical rigour, including the ability to model data, build business cases, and independently work through complex information.
  • •Ability to synthesise analysis into crisp, well-argued recommendations with explicit, defensible trade-offs.
  • •Experience building and maintaining processes, governance, and operating rhythms that coordinate priority execution, with AI tools already part of how you work.
