Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes, or VTCs for routine production operations.
  • •Follow operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instruction to perform grinding, turning, facing, boring, and/or chamfering operations.
  • •Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
  • •Obtain operator certification to accept/reject parts.
  • •Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM) and help resolve machining problems with engineers, quality, and production teams.
