Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete meaningful tasks and collaborate with managers on important HR projects.
  • •Partner with HR teams including Compensation, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, HRBP, Compliance, and Employee/Labor Relations.
  • •Collaborate with HR technology and Talent strategy teams to support HR initiatives.
  • •Build professional relationships with other interns and NiSource personnel while participating in professional development and team-building activities.
  • •Gain a broad overview of NiSource operations and current events in the utilities industry.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 17.2 - 27.8 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in an accredited university studying a related discipline such as Human Resources Management, Organizational Development/Effectiveness, or Organization Communications.
  • •Completion of intermediate-level coursework.
  • •Preferred GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
