Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, deploy, upgrade, and maintain enterprise VDI environments and related platforms.
  • •Troubleshoot complex performance, connectivity, authentication, and user experience issues while performing capacity planning and optimization.
  • •Manage VDI lifecycle activities including upgrades, migrations, and patching.
  • •Build, maintain, and optimize Windows golden images for VDI, using HashiCorp Packer to automate image creation and deployment.
  • •Implement and maintain STIGs/security baselines, perform hardening and vulnerability remediation, and support monitoring/observability to detect and resolve issues.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related experience delivering VDI/end user computing systems engineering and administration.
  • •Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS).
  • •Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon, Windows desktop operating systems, and desktop lifecycle/image management.
  • •Experience with profile management and application virtualization, plus network concepts (DNS, DHCP, VPN, TCP/IP, load balancing).
  • •Security and compliance experience, including EUC security best practices/Zero Trust and remediation (STIGs, hardening, vulnerability remediation, patch management).
