Key Responsibilities

  • •Complete field inspections for the most complex non-routine crop loss claims, with minimal supervision.
  • •Read maps/aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and discuss claim findings with farmers.
  • •Perform fact finding on crop damage, record information, and transmit loss data to determine potential indemnities.
  • •Communicate complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry people.
  • •Ensure legal compliance by maintaining knowledge of regulatory and company policies and procedures, and complete reviews/audits as assigned.

Salary: USD 44,262 - 77,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2+ years of experience in crop insurance and claims adjusting.
  • •RCIS Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) must be obtained with 180 days of hire.
  • •Live and service within a 50-mile area of specified Montana and/or Wyoming counties.
  • •Reliable personal transportation and the ability to travel within the territory.
  • •Ability to meet crop adjuster physical requirements (walking fields, climbing storage bins, lifting 25–50 lbs, working outdoors in varying conditions).
