Lead pre-sales API security engagements and act as the regional expert, guiding customers and partners through the API security lifecycle from discovery to deployment and prevention. Collaborate with product, R&D and research, develop scalable pre-sales processes, evangelize best practices, and deliver high-quality solution designs and documentation for complex API security challenges.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage the entire pre-sales lifecycle from initial conversation to demo, POV, RFP, competitive analysis, and post-sales support.
•Interact with partners, customers, salespeople, product management and leadership to align on security solutions.
•Develop, implement, and optimize technical sales processes and methodologies.
• Evangelize best practices and stay up-to-date with API and Web application cybersecurity challenges.
•Present at events and deliver high-quality solution design documents.

Key Requirements

•Experience in technical sales roles (pre-sales, system engineering, solution consultant, or solution architect) with quota carrying and customer-facing responsibilities.
•Cybersecurity background with knowledge of APIs, WAFs, and Web application security.
•Strong understanding of internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, SSL).
•Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications; familiarity with Kubernetes networking and service meshes (Istio, NGINX).
•Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to brief prospects, analyze data, and present to customers.
