Key Responsibilities

  • •Own operational billing processes for usage-based customers and ensure complete, accurate billing setup (configurations, payment requirements, account information).
  • •Monitor the usage-to-bill lifecycle, ensuring usage is captured, rated, and billed completely and accurately.
  • •Perform usage-to-billing reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between source usage data and customer invoices.
  • •Manage receivables and related processes including aging, collections, unapplied cash, and customer account exceptions.
  • •Execute SOX and O2C controls, support month-end close, and develop automated exception-based monitoring and metrics for billing completeness, accuracy, failures, and aging.

Key Requirements

  • •3–6+ years of experience in Billing Operations, Order-to-Cash, Finance Operations, Accounts Receivable, or related functions.
  • •Experience with usage-based/consumption-based billing models (e.g., SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, API-based, or high-volume billing).
  • •Strong analytical skills working with large/complex billing datasets and comfort investigating discrepancies across systems.
  • •Strong understanding of billing, AR, reconciliation, and financial control concepts.
  • •Experience with SOX controls or operating in a controlled financial environment; ERP/billing/payment/CRM/data tool experience is preferred, and SQL is a plus.
