Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end technical design and architecture for scalable, highly available, secure enterprise applications, including API strategy, cloud deployments, and CRM integrations.
  • •Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure RESTful APIs and microservices using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
  • •Customize, extend, and integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions with the bank’s core Java/Cloud backend systems.
  • •Architect and deploy applications on AWS, ensuring scalability, resilience, and compliance with HSBC cloud security frameworks.
  • •Drive engineering excellence by championing agile delivery, CI/CD automation, unit testing (TDD/BDD), and stringent code review processes, while mentoring developers and collaborating with global stakeholders.

Key Requirements

  • •Expert-level Java (v11/17+) and Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security), with experience designing complex microservices and secure RESTful APIs.
  • •Extensive AWS experience (EKS, EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, IAM) and strong understanding of cloud security and networking.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 development and configuration, including custom plugins, workflows, Dataverse, Power Platform, and integration with external APIs.
  • •Strong hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, plus CI/CD toolchains such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle, SonarQube, and Nexus/Artifactory.
  • •Solid experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL, including SQL performance tuning.
