Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as first responder to injuries, illnesses, and medical incidents onsite, providing immediate care
  • •Maintain a fully stocked, within-arm’s-reach quick response bag at all times
  • •Administer first aid or determine when referral to an occupational health clinic or emergency room is necessary
  • •Escort employees to external medical providers when needed and conduct follow-up monitoring for recovery and work restrictions
  • •Maintain accurate incident and injury logs for project reporting and compliance

Key Requirements

  • •Active EMT certification (EMT or EMT-B) in Indiana
  • •Experience in emergency medical care or occupational first aid response
  • •Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with workers and safety leadership
