Job Summary

Assist the Foreperson with daily quarry production duties by operating heavy equipment and performing related plant functions. Maintain awareness of OSHA/MSHA safety requirements, help ensure smooth and safe facility operations as a team member, and may manage crusher feed while following safety rules. Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, support equipment maintenance and cleanup, and complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Foreperson with daily production duties and other plant-related functions.
•Maintain awareness of OSHA and/or MSHA regulations to support safe operations.
•Operate equipment including haul trucks, loaders, skid steers, and other necessary machinery within the facility.
•Ensure crusher feed is consistent when required while maintaining all safety regulations.
•Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections, assist with maintenance/cleanup, and complete other duties requested by site leadership.

Key Requirements

•Must join Local 18 IUOE within 60 days of employment.
•High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience and/or training (or equivalent).
•Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; able to complete routine paperwork.
•Ability to perform basic math (add/subtract two-digit numbers and multiply/divide with 10s and 100s) using common measurement concepts.
•Willing to travel/work away from home as required and work nights and weekends when necessary.
