Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure risk management & compliance for volmacht (WRV) program, organizing and conducting audits with colleagues from other teams, and monitoring outsourcing risks with internal tools; ensure improvements are followed up.
  • •Serve as the first point of contact for operational volmacht questions, internal and external, and build/maintain a strong network with appointed agents; collaborate with teams such as acceptance, claims, finance and compliance to streamline volmacht activities in their processes.
  • •Contribute to policy & strategy by helping shape smarter and more efficient volmacht strategies; assist in formulating new volmacht propositions and improvements; contribute to setting governance and measurable goals for volmacht activities.
  • •Drive process optimization and implementation by continuously seeking ways to streamline volmacht processes, set up practical workflows, reporting and controls to make daily work easier and more professional.
  • •Think along how to further improve the volmacht strategy and its implementation, ensuring clear agreements and governance and translating these into actionable plans.

Key Requirements

  • •You have at least an HBO-level education (hbo-werk- en denkniveau), preferably in fields like Law, Business Administration, Economics or Risk Management, and experience with volmacht management, ideally within an insurer or delegated party.
  • •You understand risk management and compliance in the insurance industry and are not afraid to ask the right questions.
  • •You are a true team player with good communication skills and can adapt to different colleagues and teams.
  • •You are independent, take initiative and enjoy making processes better.
  • •Knowledge of the volmacht market and supervisory requirements is a major plus.
