Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design, development, and architecture of UK-hosted infrastructure used by internal development teams.
  • •Build and deploy products into cloud, on-premise, and air-gapped environments using infrastructure as code, and support them through their operational lifecycle.
  • •Host UK securely approved AI models for use in secure programmes.
  • •Own CI/CD systems and deployment strategies, and help wire up Hardware in the Loop (HiL) integration.
  • •Debug and profile distributed-systems edge cases, take ownership when something breaks, and translate requirements into technical solutions with product managers and customers.

Salary: GBP 100,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related engineering field.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying infrastructure for a production software product.
  • •Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and judgment around managed services.
  • •Strong infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, with a preference for describing systems in code.
  • •Expertise with Kubernetes and Docker, including deploying microservice-based applications on them.
