Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise TI leaders in a fast-moving global environment on complex commercial contracts and related legal matters.
  • •Manage your own portfolio and independently drive matters to completion using business judgment.
  • •Assess issues against business objectives, align with stakeholders upfront, and escalate thoughtfully to improve outcomes.
  • •Help build modular contract architecture by creating reusable contract structures and legal frameworks to enable speed, scale, and consistent risk posture.
  • •Modernize legal operations through standardization, automation, AI, and by building and maintaining legal data, playbooks, and knowledge assets.

Key Requirements

  • •Career break of at least 2 years.
  • •Intent to return to a full-time role at TI after the program.
  • •Be, or be eligible to become, licensed to practice law in the State of Texas.
  • •Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing transactional (preferred) and/or litigation related work in a top law firm, corporate law department, or equivalent (ideally international context).
  • •Strong advocacy, critical thinking, analytical skills, and excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
