Job Summary

Support the delivery of arboricultural projects across the UK by conducting BS5837:2012 tree surveys, collecting and recording site data, and preparing desk studies, tree schedules, and related documentation. Assist with producing tree survey, retention, and tree protection plans, draft technical reports for review by senior consultants, and contribute CAD and GIS-based outputs. Help with RAMS preparation, survey planning, logistics, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities

•Undertake BS5837 tree surveys and tree condition assessments with guidance and support.

Key Requirements

•Some practical experience in arboriculture, forestry, urban greening, landscape, ecology, or the wider built environment sector.
•Developing knowledge of BS5837:2012 and arboricultural survey methodologies.
•Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills.
•Competency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn digital survey and data collection tools.
•Full UK driving licence, or ability to travel regularly to survey locations.
