Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient orthopedic patient care in accordance with medical ethics and applicable CBAHI/JCIA, hospital, and Ministry of Health standards.
  • •Conduct ward rounds to formulate multidisciplinary treatment plans, including pre-operative and post-operative care.
  • •Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within specialty scope and manage assessments, referrals, and accepted referrals as needed.
  • •Participate in the department on-call rota, respond to emergencies, and provide clinical advice and involvement for specialty-related issues.
  • •Lead departmental performance improvement, supervise junior staff, maintain accurate patient records, and contribute to CME, training, committee activities, and patient/family education.

Key Requirements

  • •Saudi Board, American Board, Canadian Fellowship, FRCS, or equivalent.
  • •Up to five (5) years after post qualification.
  • •Current valid license to practice medicine in the orthopedic specialty.
  • •Registration in Saudi Medical Council and/or a current license to practice medicine in Saudi Arabia.
  • •Higher qualifications in the specialty (if any) and/or additional subspecialty experience or academic affiliation (desirable).
