Key Responsibilities

  • •Remove debris and trash from vehicle interiors and trunk/engine compartments.
  • •Remove license plates/stickers and writing from windows (except pertinent Auction business) and disassemble spare tires in trunk.
  • •Wash vehicles using high-pressure washer or automatic car wash equipment and clean engine compartments and battery terminals with chemicals.
  • •Detail and dress trim and exterior/interior surfaces: clean doorjambs, sills, panels, wheels/tires/hubcaps, lights, windows, and buff/wax painted surfaces.
  • •Vacuum and scrub/shampoo/spot-clean carpets and upholstery, straighten seatbelts, and assist with staging by driving vehicles as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED preferred.
  • •Generally less than 2 years’ experience in a related field.
  • •Previous experience in a detail shop or buffing helpful.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission.
  • •Ability to perform physical tasks (standing/walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, bending, climbing) and lift 1–30 pounds.
