Key Responsibilities

  • •Optimize/validate HVAC equipment selection including size, configuration, voltage, and options by reviewing plans, specifications, estimates, and proposals.
  • •Evaluate cost savings and identify cost problems across projects.
  • •Validate project scope by reviewing transition documents, plans and specs; listing cost savings/problems; planning EQ/VPP dollar breaks; and validating quantities/configurations.
  • •Support sales by developing preliminary/final equipment submittals, conducting hold job cost consensus meetings, releasing submittals, and making required changes.
  • •Prepare equipment for order entry, verify/revise equipment pricing and coordination worksheet, reconcile job costs, and provide post-order technical support for installation, startup, warranty service, and execution/customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Construction, Engineering Technology, or related fields, plus minimum 2 years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Alternative: minimum 5 years of HVAC industry experience in project management or estimating roles; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • •Familiarity with HVAC systems and/or temperature controls (preferred).
  • •Flexibility to work outside normal work hours, as required.
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations.
