Key Responsibilities

  • •Patrol and monitor an assigned segment of interstate roadway, looking for stranded motorists, roadway deficiencies, site distance problems, and obstructions.
  • •Professionally assist the public with roadside situations such as dead batteries, running out of gas, or flat tires.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED/equivalent) or 1 year of relevant work experience in lieu of education.
  • •Must be at least 18 years old and able to drive an AECOM-provided vehicle for patrol/monitoring duties.
  • •Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (no suspension in the last 5 years) and successful completion of criminal history/motor vehicle background checks.
  • •Pass pre-employment drug screen and participate in mandatory random drug screening; participate in monthly MVR monitoring.
  • •Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and demonstrate working knowledge of basic automotive repair.
