Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and champion programme vision, aligning investment strategies and client business objectives across the programme lifecycle.
  • •Provide executive leadership across multidisciplinary teams, establishing programme management and control frameworks for governance, accountability, transparency, and confidence.
  • •Lead stakeholder engagement with C-suite clients, boards, steering groups, investors, and suppliers to secure alignment and navigate complex governance environments.
  • •Maintain commercial and financial stewardship, overseeing forecasting, reporting, investment controls, and value management to deliver agreed outcomes.
  • •Identify and mitigate health and safety risks, lead programme-wide risk management and assurance strategies, and ensure compliance with organisational, contractual, and regulatory requirements.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven experience delivering high-profile, large-scale, complex transformation/real estate programmes (£250–£500m+) with tangible benefits and outcomes.
  • •Strong project delivery background progressing into programme leadership within a construction environment.
  • •Experience leading and integrating large multidisciplinary teams (project management, controls, technical, and commercial) and using programme governance/oversight frameworks.
  • •Excellent understanding of construction project delivery models, procurement routes, and contracts (NEC, JCT) plus project controls methods (schedule, cost, and risk/opportunity).
  • •Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching and mentoring, and health & safety leadership knowledge (including CDM and the Building Safety Act).
