Key Responsibilities

  • •Pull eggs from incubators and load into buggies; push buggies to the transfer table.
  • •Load eggs onto the transfer table and complete QC cycles and checks.
  • •Stack egg baskets and load into hatchers.
  • •Clean setter floors, setter hallway floors, and hatch halls, including squeegeeing water from setters, hatchers, and halls.
  • •Discard eggs from the egg remover into the vacuum system daily and clean egg hopper and surrounding area, buggies, and buggy washer.

Key Requirements

  • •Good hand-eye coordination.
  • •Ability to read numbers and colors.
  • •Zoetis certification is required (will be certified after training).
  • •Ability to continuously stand and walk, and frequently perform lifting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, and pulling.
  • •Willingness to work in wet floors, warm temperatures, and areas with odors produced by eggs.
