Based in Jakarta, you will develop go-to-market strategies, conduct market analysis, evaluate co-location opportunities, and provide regular reporting to guide management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the Portfolio Director in executing the 3YP, including opportunity analysis, market studies and Go To Market strategy.
•Conduct market analysis to identify untapped verticals (e.g., automation, aftermarket, packaging, etc.) and growth clusters.
•Evaluate co-location opportunities with aligned events or sectors.
•Build and manage relationships with industry associations, key buyers, embassies, and government stakeholders.
•Source potential co-location or strategic partners, including international organizers or commercial partners.
•Collaborate with the sales team to identify and convert new exhibitor segments, especially first-timers and/or international companies, and support sponsorship acquisition for new features or content areas.
•Provide regular reports and business cases to guide management decisions.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in business development, ideally in B2B exhibitions, industrial sectors, or related industries.
•Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
•Excellent stakeholder management and partnership-building skills.
•Confident communicator—able to present ideas, pitch new features, and influence decisions.
•Analytical, structured thinker with solid research and reporting capabilities.
