Job Summary

Design and document building electrical systems for diverse projects across residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial, civic, and healthcare markets. Perform electrical calculations and deliver designs that support power systems, lighting, grounding, communications, access control, security, IT, and fire alarm work in line with codes and client goals. Use tools like Revit and AutoCAD, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support construction activities through reviews, RFI responses, and site visits.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform electrical engineering design tasks for power systems, distribution, indoor/outdoor lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and related building systems.
•Develop electrical calculations (loads, equipment sizing, feeder sizing, voltage drop, grounding, lighting circuits and controls, and power distribution).
•Create electrical designs for buildings across multiple market sectors and support sustainable design focused on energy efficiency and resiliency.
•Produce construction drawings and design documentation using software modeling applications such as Revit and AutoCAD.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support construction activities through shop drawing review, RFI responses, progress meetings, and site visits.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
•1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience in electrical engineering.
•Proficiency in electrical engineering principles and design/build practices applied to project work.
•Intermediate knowledge of building, electrical, and energy codes.
•Experience producing high-quality design documents and deliverables using Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
