Job Summary

Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot injection molds and related Tool Room equipment to support efficient manufacturing. Operate CNC and manual machines (lathes, mills, grinders, drills), set up to specifications, and adjust controls to meet performance and accuracy. Read blueprints and machining dimensions, inspect parts with precision instruments, perform preventative maintenance, and keep accurate work order records while following all safety and PPE procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts, including setting up tools/materials and adjusting controls for accuracy.
•Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot molds and related Tool Room equipment, including preventative maintenance.
•Read blueprints/drawings and machine to specifications while collaborating with leadership as needed.
•Inspect components for defects using precision instruments and ensure conformance to dimensions and tolerances.
•Maintain clean work areas and accurate work order records, and follow all PPE and safety procedures.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and completion of a machinist apprenticeship program or equivalent hands-on experience.
•Experience operating machining equipment (lathes, mills, grinders) and setting up machines to specifications.
•Ability to read blueprints/drawings and understand dimensions, tolerances, and machining specifications.
•Proficiency with measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges, plus strong mathematical and troubleshooting abilities.
•Must provide own hand tools; forklift and crane certification required (or ability to obtain).
