Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide highly visible, inspirational leadership, strategic direction and support for the centre; liaise with other offices and teams; recruit, develop and conduct reviews; and promote the organisation's values.
  • •Build and lead a culture of Business Development within the centre; secure work through existing contacts and targeted marketing initiatives; maintain key client relationships and lead account management processes.
  • •Act as Project Director on strategic/significant projects; ensure delivery excellence, attend principal meetings, and foster a strong project management culture; promote technical excellence and innovation.
  • •Maintain and strengthen the technical competence of teams; drive strategic innovation and ensure delivery of high-quality multidisciplinary building design and related services.
  • •Manage commercial aspects of projects including budgeting, fee bidding, working capital, debtors, invoicing and project forecasting; implement project delivery systems and structures.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in the construction industry - property sector.
  • •Proven track record in delivering growth and profit with excellent client care and leading a motivated team.
  • •Strong Business Development focus with a good reputation in the Leeds/Regional marketplace within relevant supply chains.
  • •Proven experience of work winning, client care, repeat business and a considerable client facing role.
  • •Chartered Structural or Civil Engineer with an interest in promoting technical excellence and innovation.
